Glenn Rush

Owner and Director

Glenn Rush, a Nyamal man from thebara, resides in Port Hedland, Western Australia.

 

As a proud football player, he is the owner of Jakarli Group Services, which specializes in providing a range of services including labor hire, equipment hire, advisory, and consultation. In his role, Glenn leverages his understanding of cultural protocols and strong connection to the land to serve the Pilbara and metropolitan regions.

 

He is dedicated to promoting reconciliation through social justice and equitable opportunities, working to make a positive impact for Indigenous communities. By returning to his roots, Glenn shares messages of health, well-being, leadership, courage, and education, inspiring the next generation.

Kate Tsorvas

Owner and Director

Kate Tsorvas, the Owner and Director of Jakarli Group Services, grew up in the red dirt of the Pilbara. With a background as a qualified teacher and experience in Indigenous training and recruitment, she ensures Jakarli maintains strong safety compliance and tailored training programs amid rapid growth, leading to professional, safe project delivery for both clients and partners.

Having spent many years teaching in Port Hedland and engaging with the local Indigenous community, Kate holds a deep connection to country. Her grandfather grew up on Nyamal Country - Meentheena Station and was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for his work supporting Indigenous people throughout the Pilbara. His legacy continues to influence Kate’s commitment to inclusion, training, and opportunity.

In 2024, Kate founded Sandon WA — a not-for-profit organisation named in honour of her two energetic young sons. Sandon WA advocates for Training and Career Progression for Indigenous people, female leadership, and youth development in the mining and civil sectors. Through wraparound support and community-led initiatives, Sandon WA is dedicated to helping people reach their full potential.

Kate is committed to tackling challenges and streamlining operations through innovative thinking in diversified services. She is passionate about creating meaningful Indigenous employment, sustainable training pipelines, and career progression pathways that support strong, safe, and inclusive worksites.
